Dunseverick

Dunseverick Church of Ireland had no sound system.  They received an anonymous donation to cover the cost of installation.

We took a look, decided what was required and arranged a day for the install.  By the time we'd arrived there was a custom built shelf for the desk (a Soundcraft Spirit E12)  and amplifiers (QSC RMX800 and loop amp), more electric points than we would need and a reel of cable laid out most of the way round the church ready for the loop system.  While we were there we were plied with mince pies, shortbread, coffee, tea, orange juice and milk, and a couple of members of the congregation laid the cables for the speakers (a pair of JBL Control-28s) along the roof-line, finished laying the loop, lifted and re-laid the carpet to conceal the microphone cables (we used three AT Pro49Q double-gooseneck cardioid condenser mics and an AT Pro44 boundary microphone).

They also cleaned up for us while we were finishing and testing.  We've never been so well treated!
