Greystone Road

Greystone Road Presbyterian Church in Antrim has a PA system that was installed in the early 1970s.  They were having problems with occasional interference from the  airport and local taxi firms.  The mixing desk was reaching the end of its life and the overall system wasn't providing sufficient output.

We replaced the mixing desk with a modern one and used balanced cables to remove the interference.

The system used AKG D190 microphones everywhere - on the lectern, hanging from the ceiling and on stands.

We replaced some of these unsightly microphones with slimline condenser mics powered with phantom power from the new desk.

These simple minor upgrades solved the problems and aesthetics of the whole system instantly.
