St. Nicholas

St. Nicholas' church in Belfast have two church halls, one above the other.  They're used, among other things, by the nearby Queen's University to sit exams.  They needed a PA system which could function in either hall, or in both simultaneously from the same source (you know "You may all now turn over your papers and begin your exam" *shudder*).   PA would never be required  in both halls for separate functions at the same time, so they wanted to avoid buying two mixers and amplifiers if at all possible.

Using a phonic Powerpod, a speaker switch in the upper hall, and an Audio Technica Liberator radio mic. with the receiver placed upstairs, four of our favourite JBL contractor 25 speakers (two in each hall), along with a lot of speaker cable to run (discreetly!) down the stairs, they can now use the radio mic from either hall and, using the switch, it can be heard in either hall, or both.
